Place the tick remover underneath the tick, as close to the skin as possible, and slide it forward.

The tick will then easily release its grip.

If the tick has been attached for a long time, a small wound or red area may have developed. This can be gently cleaned with B&B Silver Water, Silver Salve or Leucillin.
